    We always spend Thanksgiving with my family, usually a quiet day since Christmas Eve for us is when we go all out and invite family, extended family & friends to join us. I'm thankful that I have family close by to enjoy the holiday with.

      Family is so important. I'm away from my family this year and really feeling it. At least I have my husband and two sons to share it with... and my international school family :)

    I'm a graduate student who unfortunately has 3 research papers due around Thanksgiving. I live 8 hours from home so I'm going to my boyfriend's instead because it's closer. This is the first time I haven't been home for Thanksgiving. It's sad. :(

    I will be here with my husband and children - cooking something simple if my husband has to work, or cooking a prime rib and all the special sides and fancy desserts for the four of us if he gets to be off. We have no family in this area. Thank you for this opportunity.

    One of my cowrokers (and her daughter) moved to Florida when she found out her mom had cancer. Her mom is the only family she had here. Her mom just passed a few weeks ago. Therefore, I invited her and her daughter over to my house since we do a big Thanksgiving traditional with lots of family and friends. She was SO appreciative.

      We don't celebrate it in NZ. I wish we did. Now that I'm at an international school, we're having a big school banquet. I think it's so important to give thanks....all year round if possible :)

    My in-laws only live about 2 miles away from us, so weather willing, we will be walking there (to burn some calories before we eat), having dinner with family, then walking home again.

    I just finished one of your trilogies and I am in love with your work! I can't wait to devour the rest of them. :) I will be gratefully spending thanksgiving with our family. We potluck dinner so its not too stressful for anyone and then work on puzzles and play games into the wee hours laughing and loving and being grateful. I hope you enjoy the dinner you will have with your friends I hope you have things to be grateful for that day and everyday. The world is a glorious place with new wonders every day.

    This Thanksgiving, I will be spending quality time with my family, making delicious food including: different homemade potatoes, stuffing, and pie! I will also be hopefully catching up on my reading; I have SO many books on my shelf waiting to be read. It's crazy!!     my husband, our children and I will be spending this Thanksgiving with my dad :) we've been staying with him the past few months and we are going to our new house the day after Thanksgiving(3 hours away) so he's going to be all alone :( we will miss him, but we are thankful to have such a wonderful man in our lives.

    We are having Thanksgiving at my parents' house. We usually eat around two and then again around five or six. We play games like Apple to Apple. It's me, my boyfriend, my two kids, my son's girlfriend, my sister and sister-in-law, brother and brother-in-law and five nieces and nephews. It's fun!!

    I'm cooking dinner for my family, which we haven't done in years because we always go to my parents for Thanksgiving. The reason I'm cooking this year is that my stepson and family are coming in from San Diego and he hasn't had Thanksgiving with his dad in over 20 yrs.
